After graduating from Northwestern University, I am joining the Virginia Corps of Teach for America and pursuing my M.S. in Educational Studies at John’s Hopkins University. I've worked with politicians to fight for educational equity, and I'm excited to be on the frontlines doing the same, incorporating what I've learned from my theatre education background.
As a type 1 diabetic, advocacy is deeply important to me. I would not be where I am without those who empowered me to speak up for the accommodations I need for my invisible disability. I thrive on building community and amplifying voices, helping others find ways to make life better.
Looking ahead, I intend to attend law school and serve the public as an attorney.
